Dr. Hajime Kubo

Dr.Kubo was born in Mie prefecture. After graduating from Kyoto University School of Medicine in 1992, he became a surgeon at Kyoto University Hospital and Shinko Memorial Hospital. In addition, he is involved in the founding of cancer lymphatic vessel research at Kyoto University Graduate School (Doctor of Medical Science) and Helsinki University. He returned to Japan in 2003 and engaged in cancer research as a lecturer in surgery at Kyoto University Hospital and an associate professor at Kyoto University. During this time, he was an academic researcher at the Ministry of Education and a visiting professor at Strasbourg University in France. Since 2010, he has held positions at reputed Organizations in Japan. After the earthquake, he voluntarily supported Fukushima medical care as a specially appointed professor at Fukushima Medical University.
While working with the pharmaceutical manufacturer, he set up a medical department. He oversaw all departments of the Clinical Development Department and the Safety Information Management Department. Kubo had close communication with the principal investigators on the university side. He also jointly conducted about 60 clinical studies, which were weak at Japanese universities. In addition, Kubo supported sales activities by publishing a large number of research treatises and also supported call centers. It was a department that Japanese domestic manufacturers did not have. He was also involved in research projects, product introductions, and M & A.
As a freelance subject matter expert, he has been supporting the advancement of companies in the medical field as a "medical scientist." He also proposes new businesses, such as hospital data utilization, to investment companies that acquire hospitals. In addition, as one of the medical device manufacturer's business expansions to healthcare, he developed a health drink to replace supplements. He is also involved in distributing American medical devices in Japan and, more recently, the development of health & nutrition products.
